Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
In 2018, the DIA began posting more often about conservation and collections care on its parent accounts, @DetroitInstituteofArts (Facebook) and @DIAdetroit (Instagram and Twitter). Initially, each type of post had general hashtags, such as #ArtConservation, and longer campaigns had overly specific hashtags, such as #WheresTheBruegel. I proposed #BehindTheScenesDIA to use as a single universal hashtag to promote visitor interaction and usage.
